Welcome to the IRIA website. We have recently re-launched our website and will be working on improving our web services and information for Accredited Training Organizations, certified instructors and technicians, as well as those interested in pursuing IRIA certification

The continued demand for a credible, risk management standards based organization resulted in the evolution from a volunteer based organization to the creation of a formal certification entity in 2005, the appointment of an Executive Director and continued growth in developing the structure for a true international certification program.

Accredited training organizations currently operate in Canada, the USA, India, Great Britain and Norway. More training organizations are being audited and certified as we grow and develop our international system of Accredited Training Organizations.

In most democracies the ultimate regulatory body is the court (legal) system. The IRIA and other professional instruction and certification providers use the background, credibility and the experience of court recognized subject matter experts and their consensus decision making process and conclusions as the foundation for its’ operational standards. This expertise has been quantified in the Risk Management Matrix™, which is the foundation of the IRIA standards.
