We are a registered corporation in the Province of British Columbia, Canada, operating as a not-for-profit entity. Although we are officially registered as the International Rescue Instructors Alliance, we do business as the International Rescue Instructors Authority or the IRIA.

The day to day operations of the IRIA are managed by the Executive Director and administrative support staff comprised mainly of volunteers.
